It all starts with a purpose

Womentor started in 2020 to support women working in tech companies, tech areas, or tech start up’s connecting with a relevant mentor.

In order to grow in your career or scale your business, a mentor can help you see things from a different perspective, guide you, or ask some valuable questions. Being a mentor, you can grow both as a person and professional as well. By sharing your network and coach another person, you make use of some skillsets that you might already have or develop along the way.

Our job is to connect two individuals, who will join a mentorship for 6 months. We will run events along the way and ensure a network during that time.

Who can apply?

As a mentee, you have to either work within a tech company, with tech products, development or a tech start up/scale up. You need to have a clear goal for what your mentor can help you with. We rarely have life coaches to sort up your whole life but we do have super competent people who can help you reach your next step.

As a mentor, you also have a strong connection to the IT industry and technology sector. Furthermore, you want to support more women in the field by being a mentor for one. Men are more than welcome to mentor in our program since we believe that they are part of the solution to increase diversity in the industry.

When and how to apply?

Applications for Womentor 2024 is now closed. Will open again November 2024 for the mentorship programme for 2025.
